JSCC Library does not give fines for overdue items, unless the item is not returned by the end of the semester. At that time, all overdue accounts are sent to the business office for processing, and a hold is placed on the patron's account. The business office charges a $20 processing fee for overdue accounts.

Can I take reserve materials home, to class, etc.?

Unless stated otherwise, reserve materials may not be taken from the JSCC Library. Reserve materials may be used in the library for two hours at a time. Patrons may only check out one reserve item at a time. Please see a librarian if you have questions or need assistance.

Community patrons can get a library card by coming into the library with their driver's license or state-issued ID. Community patrons will be issued a red library card for use at the JSCC Library.

JSCC Library is unable to issue a library card to a patron who does not have proper ID.
